In August 2012, Wade Michael Page fatally shot six people and wounded four others in a mass shooting at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. It was the worst race-based attack in the U.S. since the KKK bombed the 16th Street Baptist Church in 1963 in Montgomery, Alabama.

In the wake of his father’s murder in the attack, Pardeep Kaleka, has become a powerful voice against hate crime and violence, helping to found the organization Serve 2 Unite ( which brings together young people from different religious and cultural backgrounds and encourages them to value humanity and to aspire to live life promoting peace.
